Google changes algorithm... again.
Some of you might have noticed changes in your search engine placement in Google over the past week. The reason is that Google, once more, is making changes in the algorithm. Last June when Google changed their algorithm there was a total mess for more than one month in the Search Engine Results Pages and it feels like we are back in the same situation again. (Allegedly, Google had problems with their algorithm not reaching convergence in the PageRank values).
Rumour has it that the new changes include stronger rules to filter out spammers and Google abusing and also a demotion (again) in the influence of PageRank in the search engine result pages.
At the moment nothing is certain on the SERP so my advice to all of you is: Dont Panic Yet! I hope the new Google algorithm will settle down shortly so we can all be certain of its results. Patience and preparation is the best tactics.
